Oh, grow up

Just like kids who peeked behind a door one night and found their parents having sex, some of the folks over here were appalled and confused to find Emerson and Fortier in Harper's new cabinet.

I'd just like to say to all of you ... it's a grown up game and someday you'll understand and it won't seem so icky.

I totally agree. All those whining voters in Vancouver Kingsway should just grow up and realize that elections are about personal ambition and power, not democracy.

You might want to re-read this post. I wasn't taking about the voters in Vancouver Kingsway. And that is where I think we most certainly do not agree. Those people have every right to whine. What they voted for was power - a Liberal cabinet minister in a Liberal government and they were disappointed twice in one week. Members who cross the floor will sooner or later be held accountable by their constituents for such actions. One has only to look at voters in Newmarket- Aurora and Kings-Hants to see what happens when voters exercise their democratic right to chose between indignant outrage and power.
Thanks for stopping by and please come again. It's so nice to make new friends.

Glad another Conservative mentioned SEX! For you and those you advise to grow up,Glenda, check out Prime Minister Frankenstein at www.charlesadler.com for a western conservative take on this.

Emily, You surprise me. I didn't think you were a fan of talk radio. They're a little too far right for my taste.
You know I've always tried to add a few sex links to keep the Liberal chicks coming back. Here's another funny take on dirty games.

Great link in there that took me to the dirt on our new Minister of Defence! You know, the former military with BIG lobby credentials?
Check out Andrew Coyne's latest post.

Well anonymous, it was the humour I wanted to share with emily, who, by the way, drops by often and isn't afraid to leave her name. But if you found something there you liked that's good. Aren't you glad you stopped by? I've already read what Coyne has to say on the Minister of Defence and Babbling Brooks too. Everybody has an opinion. It would have been a lot easier had Harper just let the pundits pick his cabinet don't ya think?
