I was surprized that they encouraged people to appeal to emotion, but didn't encourage them to cite fact or appeal to logic. That's the direct opposite of my view.

Apart from that, I wish all posters would follow this advice.

I guess to cite fact or appeal to logic would be what reporters are suppose to do.

"Here are 15 tips..." tips is plural.

here's a contraction of "here is...."

completing school courses in grammar is a good thing.
